Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9th, 1976 from Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents, who are a dental doctor as well as a teacher at school, supported and encouraged her early love for drama and theater. Her initial dream of becoming a specialist in monkeys was eclipsed by her wish to learn about drama and theater. The actress became famous as a child actress quickly and with enormous achievement. Following her graduation She was a part of the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Best Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and began her professional career as an actor. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her youth, however she now dissociates herself from these upbringings. Her acting and modelling careers are interspersed. She became the face for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Apart from her acting work she also has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some images at the Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Her work is focused on celebrities as well as the fame. It also features an assortment of self-portraits as well as a focus on journalists that have scrutinised Tautou since her meteoric rise in stardom following Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major part in the film Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. After this huge success, Tautou starred in many films including British dramas such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday of fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
