Laura Linney has been hailed as one of the most popular actors. Her fame is for her strong character who are equally at risk. Born to a famous playwright father, but was raised by a single mom who worked by working as a nurse. She began to take an interest in theater while working with her father during the summer and eventually pursuing a degree in acting first at Brown University and then at Juilliard School. After just two short years following graduation the actress began her Broadway career. The following year she made her debut on the world of film and television. Since then she has been appearing in a variety of films, TV productions and stage shows. Over the course of her career, she won several awards, among them her two Golden Globe Awards. Though she was awarded numerous prizes through the years, performing has always been her first passion.
